Individual Counseling
Each individual’s path to healing and wellness is unique and special to their own needs. Generally, weekly or bi-weekly individual sessions can range from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on therapy goals. The approach used is tailored to your specific needs, and one that may change along the way. Therapy can go on for as long as you need it to, but it can also be as brief as you need it to. For those looking for quick support, I apply solution-focused and single-session interventions to help you get the most out of our time together.
Body/Mind Integration
When one endures a trauma(s) and is not able to process it, or cannot safely heal from that experience, it can threaten the connection one naturally has to their emotional, physical and spiritual health. How that impact manifests itself is different for everyone, but it most often disrupts the connection to their self-awareness, relationships with others, and one’s ability to feel safe in the world. Throughout your healing journey, we’ll discover how that looks and feels for you, and work towards an individualized path, integrating both talk therapy and mindfulness/movement to find both safety and resiliency moving forward through post-traumatic growth. For those who may not have experienced a traumatic event but are wanting to work towards personal evolution beyond just symptom management, integrating both parts of self is also a good option for you.
