“The further down the healing path I go, the less I am able to define. When I turn inward, I find no words. Only light, only love.”

Talk Therapy & Yoga
There can be incredible healing in a therapeutic office, when finding a safe place and person that allows you to be your most authentic and vulnerable self. Talk therapy as a standalone treatment is effective and enough for some individuals. For others though, they may find themselves still feeling stuck or coming back to old patterns of thinking and behavioral habits. This often means that there is more work to be done in truly healing and showing up for ourselves. By incorporating more intentional movement and mindfulness into your therapy, we can expand beyond the cognitive work, healing the whole-self.
My training throughout the Yoga Teacher Training program helped me to develop a mind and body therapy approach. This is for those who want to blend talk therapy with specific yoga poses/flows that target the nervous system, connective tissue and muscles, all of which are impacted by our experienced and repressed emotions. Incorporating movement into therapy can also allow individuals to continue to transcend forward from suppressed emotions, memories and traumatic experiences. Additionally, by incorporating mindfulness into sessions, you can learn how to stay present when experiencing uncomfortable or difficult emotions. I can assist you in learning new skills to feel safe while harnessing and honoring the hard parts of your journey that has brought you here.
If you’re intrigued by this approach, or feel a desire to heal more holistically but need to know more, I would love to connect with you directly. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to provide clarity and answer any questions you may have.
Regardless of what approach we take in your sessions, know that I am honored to walk along side you in your journey towards healing and wellness, empowering you while you find your way back home to yourself.
